Greetings! And Welcome to my very own Passion Project. The Edison Project and its Experiments will be about my journey through my inalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Within these pages I hope you will find both depth and levity found in the life of a man in his 30s who has determined to shed a light on happiness, provoke thought and discussion, and inspire others to walk their path of happiness with a greater sense of urgency in the now.
I am a husband, a father of 3, a son, brother, friend and dedicated professional. I love to read and to write and I have a passion for building things; most specifically residential and commercial buildings, which I do 50-60 hours a week. I currently reside in the Richmond, Va area but grew up just outside of Baltimore, Md. My family and I relocated in July of 2016. We love it here in River City and focus our free time on spending it together, and outside if we can swing it. It is my most profound hope that over the years, I might piece together a road-map for my children – ideally by my actions, but sometimes by using myself as an example of what one ought not to do if they intend on keeping with the road, sometimes the trail, sometimes the tight-rope, that is happiness.
